Sony’s latest leading smartphone, Xperia i1 which is also known as Honami is scheduled to be launched on September 4. If rumors are to be believed, Sony is also working on its mini version. Sony Xperia Honami mini will have the specification in the device-code called Ray 3. It will have a reported processor of a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with 4.3 inch Triluminos 720p display. It will be launched with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.
There will be a support slot for microSD card and 2400mAh battery as well. The most eye catching feature of this version will be a 20.7 megapixel camera with original Sony G lens with f/2.0 aperture and 1/2.3” sensor.
Sony is not going to cut down the hardware specifications of this mini flagship smartphone but it is going to reduce its display size. But it is opposite of other mini version of smartphones like HTC and Samsung which have also reduced their hardware specifications along with the display size.
This smartphone of Sony is expected to launch on September 4 before IFA consumer show in Berlin. The rumors says that Sony Xperia Honami will be featuring picture enhancement chips called ‘X-Reality’ which is designed for Bravia TVS as well as for Sony’s Cybershot cameras.
